A super simple mustard BBQ sauce that can be thrown together in 5 minutes and used in delicious barbecue sandwiches and more! If you like a good Carolina mustard sauce, you'll love this!

Let's hear it from the BBQ fans! There's all kinds of different BBQ sauces out there, I used to only have the dark brown sugar type, which, don't get me wrong, I love. But there's just something about a smokey mustard sauce that is somehow better!
This recipe is used as the sauce in my BBQ soy curl sandwiches!
🥘Ingredients

Feel free to swap sugar for brown sugar, maple syrup or agave. You can use sugar substitutes, but it may change the flavor a bit.
Add some spice like cayenne pepper.
Please see recipe card for exact quantities
🔪Instructions

Step One - Add all ingredients to a bowl.

Step Two - Whisk everything well.

🍱Storage
Refrigerator - Store in airtight container, jar or squeeze bottle for up to 2 weeks. Could try freezing it, but I've never done that.
If you'd like the sauce warm, you can warm in 30 second intervals in the microwave. If storing in a squeeze bottle, you can run hot water over the bottle for ample amount of time to warm the sauce or place the bottle in boiling water. Just make sure the bottle is capable of doing that.
